2016 Cadillac CT6 leaked, debuts later tonight

The first picture of the 2016 Cadillac CT6 has leaked to the web ahead of its officially unveiling later tonight.

Looking like a larger and more mature CTS, the CT6 has an evolutionary front fascia with a wide grille that is flanked by distinctive LED headlights. Moving further back, we can see slender mirrors and softer lines which should appeal to the car’s slightly older audience.

As we have previously reported, the 2016 CT6 will feature a lightweight body and three…

GM’s Mark Reuss: Cadillac Isn’t Ready for a Sports Car, Chevy Code Is Dead, Small-Block V-8 Isn’t in Danger

Cadillac’s new CT6 will not be the brand’s flagship, the new Ford Mustang did not influence the soon-to-debut new Chevy Camaro, and the small-block V-8 is not going anywhere. So said GM executive vice president Mark Reuss in a discussion with reporters at the New York auto show.

Reuss described the company priorities thusly: “to grow Cadillac, and get Chevrolet back in the car game, really feed Buick and GMC, get Opel straightened around, and get our international operations…

Report: Cadillac Looks to Improve Brand Image Before Boosting Sales

Despite a number of new products, Cadillac has seen its sales decline. By the end of 2014, Cadillac was the only GM brand with a drop in sales, thanks to slow performances from the ATS, XTS, CTS, and SRX. But according to a new report, increasing sales isn’t first on Cadillac’s to-do list when it comes to transforming the brand.

“The brand needs some elevation before we can discuss the next step of expansion,” Cadillac marketing boss Uwe Ellinghaus told Automotive News. “We have…

2016 Cadillac CT6 Photos and Info: The New Range-Topper You Need to Know About

Cadillac has big plans to redefine itself: a new home in New York City, a decidedly nontraditional alphanumeric naming convention, and a whole spate of new vehicles promised between now and 2020. So it’s perhaps apropos that the brand used an event in the hypertrendy borough of Brooklyn to introduce its new four-door luxury sedan, the 2016 CT6.

The CT6 slots into the Cadillac lineup above the ATS and the CTS, which are wonderful driver’s cars and wheeled embodiments of a…

New York 2015: Cadillac CT6 Revealed
Lincoln beat Cadillac to the punch with the Continental. Poor timing on Cadillac’s side. The Continental looks like it’s aiming for a different league compared to the CT6 which looks like all the other Cadillac’s. You will not see Bentley scared of the Cadillac.
Meanwhile, the S-Class looks like all other Mercedes, and the A8 looks like all other Audis. Cadillac has a successful-enough design language that the same-sausage-different-lengths method can work for them. Lincoln,…
Cadillac to tackle top end luxury with new CT6

Cadillac is re-entering the high-end luxury market with the new CT6 sedan. Thanks to its new aluminum-intensive Omega platform, Cadillac is claiming its new flagship weighs less than a BMW 5 Series, despite matching the 7 Series for space and size.

Powering the CT6 will be three different engines, ranging from a four-cylinder turbo motor producing 265 hp (198 kW) to the range-topping twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6, which will produce around 400 hp (298 kW) and 543 Nm of torque. To help…

I purchased a 1990 Eldorado with 90,000 miles, a near-perfect body and a serviceable interior. It’s a great cruiser and I love the body style but it’s a 1990, with more than a few mechanical design flaws. I would like to bring my car into the 21st century with state-of-the-art engine, transmission, brakes, etc.. Basically, I want anything and everything that would improve the performance of the car.
My problem is that I can’t find a reputable shop in this country to do the work. Is there any advice you could give me. It would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your time,

    Michael Sinclair
